Adventure - Infertile Land

Sitting on the eastern most pasture from the city is the Shelly farm. Word has it that the Shelly family has been having a rough time this year as most of the crops they planted have failed to grow. What has grown from the land is misshapen and deformed in small ways. The most noticeable deformity is a watermelon vine that seems to be doing amazingly well and the melons have grown to enormous sizes. One of which has grown to be too big to fit into the back of a cart.

What’s Really Going On

The blight of the wasteland is slowly seeping west and affecting the land and wildlife. The taint is affecting the plant life on this farm because an underground river feeds the well that the farm uses for its water source.

Farmhouse

Around the farmhouse and silo are various blights.

Stench of Death Any creature starting its turn within 10ft of the flower must make a DC 14 Con save or be incapacitated. Once saved, a creature is immune for 24hr.
Multiattack The flower can make 3 tentacle attacks.
Tentacle +5, 10ft, 2d6+2, DC 14 Con or take 4d6 poison.
Harvest The flower grabs one dead corpse within 10ft and stuffs it inside itself.
